If you are running on a RH 6.2 system, you may want to download
snapshots from:
http://www.codesourcery.com/gcc-snapshots/
I am running gcc version 3.0 20010309 (prerelease) and do not
have the same problems that you have mentioned.
If you are running on a RH 7.0 system or are on a system with
glibc 2.2, you will need to rebuild the rpm's from the Source
RPM, also available from CodeSourcery.
You need the DejaGNU rpm installed on your system to rebuild everything
from source.
