Dear GCC maintainers,
I was just wondering what's the point in releasing gcc-2.95.3 when the
GCC home page says that gcc-3.0 will be released at the end of this
quarter? Perhaps the maintenance release will be much more stable than
the major release? Or perhaps the maintenance release will actually
precede the major release by a few rather than a couple of months?
