Hello again,
regarding my earlier post:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2000-12/msg00147.html
I was just messing with some stuff to see if i can
stumble upon something and i think i may have.
Is there something significant about the name
"dummy.C" as far as gcc is concerned??
I ask this because if i take dummy.C and rename it to
foodummy.C it compiles fine!
Furthermore, the compile does not fail as long as the
.C and .h files have different stems. As above if i
keep dummy.C as is and copy dummy.h to bardummy.h and
modify dummy.C to include bardummy.h everything is OK.
This is very skrange it seems.
Any ideas what's going on?
How should I proceed from here?
patrick
