The trouble with these designations like 586 and 686 is that they
correspond to early code names for designs, but they do not correspond
correctly, that's why they are confusing. 386 and 486 were fine, but
past that I think these designations are confusing.
If you want to say family-3-class-x86 then why not say that :-)
