I'm bulding gcc-2.95.2 on a Solaris 8 PC, and see that it's not listed
on the buildstats page as one that's been successful, so I thought I'd
give you details.
config.guess says I have an i386-pc-solaris2.8
Of course, that's wrong, it's actually an i786-pc-solaris8, but that's
picking nits.

My configure line was:
delta:/usr/local/src/gccobj:108> ../gcc-2.95.2/configure
--prefix=/usr/gnu --with-cpu=i786
make bootstrap ran without issue, as did make install.
