L.S.,
I just added some information about LAPACK 3.0 on the GCC-3.0 "criteria"
page - the web page that describes the criteria the GCC-3.0 release
should adhere to.
I also added a separate page describing how to build, run and interpret
the test results of this Fortran Linear Algebra Package.
In this description, I didn't follow David Billinghurst's idea of
enabling a build in an objdir != srcdir, because I do not think building
in the source directory is a problem with LAPACK. It also means that my
recipe tries to be "minimal" w.r.t. the LAPACK release from
www.netlib.org (one only has to change an include file for the main
Makefile).
The page is not complete yet - in particular, because I cannot run the
`timing' programs at home, I have no idea how to measure "regressions"
in this regard. Perhaps someone with a 512 Mbyte machine can chime in
here :-)
Comments, critique, additions and suggestions welcome.
Cheers,
