I successfully built egcs-1.1.2 on a Solbourne S4000 (an old Sparc clone)
after running configure as follows:
./configure --host=sparc-solbourne-sunsos41 --with-cpu=v7
config.guess does not give any output. FWIW, the CPU on
this box is a Fuji MB86900 and the FPU is a Fuji MB86910.
