David, would you mind adding an appropriate note to
htdocs/install/specific.html
in our wwwdocs repository?
In general, i.e., to all port maintainers: Please feel free to add
resp. update entries concerning you ports in install/specific.html
without prior notice!
Just do the update and send the patch to egcs-patches afterwards.
