There's nothing wrong with following a bug through to resolution! Do not
apologize for that.
The thing we have to keep in mind when dealing with these things is that the
ultimate goal is to identify the right problem and solve it. Some discussion
and speculation is OK within the development group as long as it leads towards
resolution of the problem.
