Sources: - egcs -regcs_1_1_branch from CVS last updated at

- libg++-2.8.1.2a-19981101 (still not yet released)
Patches: [1]: `PATCH for Re: more evidence that failing to detect ICE's
is a significant problem' from <mark@markmitchell.com>.
[2]: `PATCH for fixing broken symbolic links with the new
library interface' from <manfred@s-direktnet.de>.
[3]: A new, 4th, patch to pre-select languages to be built;
I did not post this so far.
Environment: - GNU binutils 2.9.1 + Ian Lance Taylor's patch to gas/ehopt.c
- dejagnu-971222 + look_for_dir_with_trigger patch
- gperf-2.7 + gperf-2.7-19981006.pat
Remarks: I've added patch [3] only to test it with a
"stable" compiler; the mainline source are far too
whacky right now.
None of the patches should have an effect on the
results.
Building the [class], [byval], [call], [convert] and
[call-var] targets in ${target}/libg++/etc/benchmarks
results in:
../../egcs-1.1.1/gcc/integrate.c:1733: Internal compiler error \
in function expand_inline_function
I reported this already for egcs-1.1 and various
snapshots from the mainline.
