Of course, I still wonder why searching /usr/local/include is on by default,
on systems whose native compiler does _not_ search /usr/local/include by
default. (Does --without-local-prefix work yet?)
This _really_ should be explained (and documented) by something better than
"if you don't know what it is, then you probably don't need it". Though
historic to gcc, it still is deviant from native platforms' compilers.
