cvs update finds modified files

I just invoked 'cvs update' on my (nearly) fresh egcs tree, and it
reported a couple of files as modified. These turned out to be
re-generated files, eg. gcc/objc/objc-parse.c. This file was updated
since the source (objc-parse.y) has a newer time stamp.
What can I do to keep these files synchronized?
