libg++ 2.8.0 980111 is released.

Hi,

A minor bug in texinfo which prevents a clean build on mips-sgi-irix5.3
is fixed.

BTW, I also tested it with egcs 1.0.1 on linux/alpha/glibc 2.0.6. It
seems ok.

Thanks.

This libg++ 2.8.0 980111 is based on libstdc++ in egcs and libg++ in
libg++ 2.8.0b6. It is intended for gcc 2.8.0. It has been tested with
gcc 2.8.0 971225 on linux/x86/libc 5 and linux/x86/glibc 2.1. It is
available at

ftp://ftp.yggdrasil.com/private/hjl/libg++-2.8.0-980111.tar.gz

A patch for libg++ 2.8.0 980108 is also available at

ftp://ftp.yggdrasil.com/private/hjl/libg++-2.8.0-980108-980111.diff.gz

This libg++ supports both glibc 2.0 and glibc 2.1. There is one
potential problem with Linux/GNU. Since gcc is installed under /usr on
Linux/GNU, libg++ is also modified to reflect it. The top level
configure libg++ and the top level configure.in in gcc have to be in
sync on "prefix".

For egcs, the libg++ add-on should be used:

ftp://ftp.yggdrasil.com/private/hjl/libg++-2.8.0b6.5.tar.gz
