egcs-1.0.1 and OSR 5.0.4

Earlier I reported trouble making egcs-1.0.1 under OSR 5.0.4
(I mistyped OSR 5.0.4 as OSR 5.0.2 in my earlier note also.)
The problem turned out to be make itself, dumping core.
I report that attempting to make egcs-1.0.1 using GNU make version 3.74
fails, but that upgrading make to GNU make 3.76.1 seems to fix the
problem.
The 'stock' make on SCO 5.0.4 seems to work fine, BTW. I'm just a
GNU fan.
