cygwin 19990819
egcs binutils-990902 (binary from www.xraylith.wisc.edu/~khan works)

Bug corrections:

define INT_ASM_OP in gcc/config/i386/cygwin.h
fix dependency on obsolete definition of LARGE_INTEGER in libf2c/libU77/[de]time_.c
remove texinfo from build (cygwin not supported)
remove libio/dbz from make check schedule (cygwin not supported)

Flag settings:

--host=target=i586-pc-cygwin32
CFLAGS '-O -pipe'
