Comments:
- source is patched with my usual set of patches from egcs-1.1.1 days +
a few more that are now part of the dev branch. I'll publish the
patches when I announce the binary release.
- The C results look even better than 1.1.2-pre1, and does seem too good
to be true. I re-ran most of the Linux failures by hand and couldn't
get those to fail, but will reserve judgement until I've tried them
all. I'll run a few hundred random cases via script next weekend to
make sure Expect/NT is behaving properly.
Others will possibly see some C++ failures not shown here; I've added
some patches from the dev branch that help. Also, my dejagnu setup is
patched to ignore ``-fPIC not supported'' etc warnings.
- Overall, I'm satisfied. Now If I could only backport some of the other
patches, especially C++ linkage ones, from the dev branch w/out risking
breakage, I'd be much happier.
