This is a known problem with CVS. CVS is not atomic, so occasionally
the regression tester will update half-way through someone's checkin.
There seems no way to fix this other than to write, then move to, a
better source control system. I think this problem happens about once
every two months at present.
Anyway, the testing now passes, so all is OK with the world :-).
