Sorry, I didn't mean to say that there are no plugins -- I should have
said "when gengtype starts to be used without available GCC source
tree too". Your MELT plugin (and other early plugins) is a special
case in that you are familiar with GCC build system.

Which reminds me that gengtype will need to be built as a host system
tool too (now it is only a build system tool).
