Definitely interested in seeing libffi standalone, here, as that would make it
easier to use for Kaffe, then to have to bundle it at some distant point in
time, and then deal with all the ugly version drift and resyncing problems that
poses. 

Libffi is used by projects outside gcc, so it makes sense to have it standalone,
to me at least.
