This is one of those patches that can easily fall through the cracks because hardly anyone is responsible on the reviewing side and it is usually harder to prove non-existence of something. :-)

OK for mainline?
Should this change also go into 4.2 ?

* doc/invoke.texi (Wextra): Delete outdated paragraph.

So, I'll chime in and approve this if there are no objections by the end of this week. In that case, yes, please also apply this to the 4.2 branch.
