Ok. I assume the type attribute should be added, but the command line option should not?


How should I proceed with the patch? Wait until -Wcoercion is integrated? Work with these authors to integrate the __w64__ attribute
into their patch? (either would be fine with me)


The relevant size_t and ptrdiff_t definitions are those in stddef.h, which would need the attribute added.
