Would it be possible to describe these changes in more detail? You
rarely say anything more interesting than "it works here and there" in
these messages.
Although many of us are not directly working on the branch, the
rationale behind these changes should at least be described on the list.
Otherwise, it is pretty much impossible to keep track of what you folks
are doing on the branch. This may prove a road block when time comes to
merge the branch into mainline.
