Kaveh, does it help to have dg-require-effective-target, or do you also
need selector expressions that let you combine effective targets with
target triplets?

Gaby, would it be OK with you if I backport selector expressions to the
3.4 branch?  They've been in use on 4.0 and later for quite awhile now.
If I did that I'd want to synchronize GCC's dg- directives on all
active branches.
