This is the next set of patches to add the C decimal floating point extension to the preprocessor and C front-end. The patch, by necessity, includes some minor changes to add a new target hook that indicates support for decimal floating point. At present, this hook universally evaluates to false. Furthermore, the extensions pedwarn when GNU extensions are not desired. Regression tested and bootstrapped on powerpc64-linux. We have a comprehensive testsuite for these changes, but I am intending to submit that as the last patchset the merge. Okay for the trunk? libcpp/ 2005-11-22 Jon Grimm <jgrimm2@us.ibm.com> * expr.c (interpret_float_suffix): Identify df, dd, and dl suffixes as DFP constants. (cpp_classify_number): Disallow hexadecimal DFP constants. * include/cpplib.h (CPP_N_DFLOAT): New. gcc/ 2005-12-05 Jon Grimm <jgrimm2@us.ibm.com> Janis Johnson <janis187@us.ibm.com> Ben Elliston <bje@au.ibm.com> * target-def.h (TARGET_DECIMAL_FLOAT_SUPPORTED_P): New.
