The sentence is in the GNU Binutils sub-section of the Solaris section, so it
is only meant to apply to GNU Binutils. Feel free to add ", or the vendor
tools (Sun as, Sun ld)." if you deem it necessary.

That has never been intended.

Well, the number of combinations is obviously huge and AFAIK I'm the only one
who regularly experiments with a small fraction of them. I only document
what I'm confident about. Suggestions for improvement are of course welcome.
