Fair enough - I have now checked in the obvious fix to restore Kazuhiro's original patch. I will continue to investigate why the triple does not work for me.

I think you're probably right about DejaGNU version skew being the problem.


DejaGNU 1.4.2 isn't usable for testing (much of?) GCC. For example, it will silently skip huge swaths of the libstdc++ testsuite. You should definitely upgrade to 1.4.4.
