Following Mike Stump's advice, I prepared a patch which changes libgfortran to GPL+exception. I've taken the wording from libgcc2.c and changed all files which had a copyright header to use that license (the only ones which don't are a few m4 scripts, and fmain.c, which probably is not copyrightable). I also added 2004 to the copyright years, as I assumed that this change would be copyrightable. Previous licenses some files were plain GPL, a few said LGPL. Besides this, I also fixed one glaring typo in the header of runtime/pause.c and added a copyright line to runtime/select.c, after verifying which years had to be added. Patch gzipped due to its size and its repetitive nature (>200kb, the gzipped version is <8kb). I verified that the library still builds, but I haven't regenerated the generated files. Paul, could you please apply the patch and do this, if it gets approved? Thanks, - Tobi 2004-09-01 Tobias Schlueter <tobias.schlueter@physik.uni-muenchen.de> * all files: Change copyright header to GPL+exception, add 2004 to copyright years. * runtime/pause.c: In addition, fix typo. * runtime/select.c: In addition, add copyright line.
