With hindsight you ended up taking on the job of getting our first
mega-patch through the maintainer, which was perhaps unfortunate.
Ideally we should have done that job, which would have been a useful
learning experience for us. It's just bad luck that we ended up
submitting a large, overlapping set of patches simultaneously. So my
apologies for giving you all this extra work to do, and my thanks for
your patience in dealing with it. If there's any of this job which we
can take back and help out with, then please let us know; I've
certainly volunteered to patch extend.texi to describe the new builtins.
