May I suggest to find a better name than "nothing trees"? It's not very
descriptive. "deferred trees" == dtrees or "compressed trees" == ctrees
comes to mind.

"squeezed"? (Thinking back half-fondly about DOS compressor algorithm names.)

If we must create a backronym, there's plenty to choose from: smaller, shrunken, skinny, short...
