May I suggest to find a better name than "nothing trees"?  It's not very
descriptive.  "deferred trees" == dtrees or "compressed trees" == ctrees
comes to mind.

Non-GNU style.  Some occurences.

Is this just your mailer (the double "+")?  Also sometimes in the patch.
