Hi,
Here is another summary of patches, considerably shorter because things
are synchronizing nicely, thanks a lot :) The tail call ellimination
patch is only remaining real blocker of other patches I have.
Concerning the type checking and aliasing issues, I am holding the
patches until underlying problems are at least partly sorted out and
will re-send updated versions later.
