Yes.


I'd love to know if last week's cleanups had any effect for you, but
I don't expect you to go out your way to find out.

I've audited them, they look like they will help a bit, though, I didn't measure speed, as I am still working on functionality with frameworks.


We should dust it off and submit it... If you want to work on it, play
with our patch

Please do send it. I'm happy to see something go in if it maintains the
correctness we now have, is clean, and helps more than just extreme cases.

It isn't as clean as I suspect it needs to be, likely to not be correct enough and still would need re-porting to a recent compiler. Maybe I'm just pessimistic. We can punt it for now.
