I've been meaning for a while to submit a patch isolating the in-tree
gas/elf test so it isn't repeated. Thanks for beating me to it. :-)
I should probably put in a gcc_LD_VERSION_GTE_IFELSE to go with
gcc_GAS_VERSION_GTE_IFELSE. which will make the tests somewhat
better.
I don't have authority to approve, but hopefully DJ or Alex will. It
looks good to me.
