I sent mail to my contacts letting them know that you were doing this work,
and asking if it was OK for the FSF to include this testsuite in gcc.
Hopefully I will hear back soon.  This is US Thanksgiving week though.
I know that my contacts will be out of the office much of this week, and
so will I.

I think we need to do better than that, even if this is only a testsuite.
After all, we are risking the FSF to copyright infringement litigation if
we get it wrong.  We know the code came from Motorola, therefore, we have to
ask Motorola for permission.  Did anyone at Wind River actually ask Motorola
for permission, or did they just assume it was OK, because they don't care
about FSF copyright policy?

There is also the matter of the SPE testsuite.  I asked about that one too.
I'm pretty sure Motorola won't release it now, but maybe they will in the
near future.
