Note, that I have reverted your change from <GCJNAV> to <gcjnav>, as I
believe keeping this "macro" uppercase will serve as a reminder for us
that this is defined by us.
I have left the rest of this patch for the Java folks, partly because
there are some changes I'd prefer them to have a look at. Probably it's
easiest, could you do a `cvs update` and re-send the rest generated by
another `cvs diff` (and after reverting the <GCJNAV> -> <gcjnav> part)?
