I have not seen you propose that solution or patch. How can I be
for or against something that you never mentioned before?
The larger question is a design issue for libgcc. This use of
libgcc is imposing restrictions on libgcc similar to the concerns of some
non-GCC GNU/Linux developers about whether they could rely upon libgcc
purpose and API remaining stable.
