The change I think should be made on the branch is the same one I just
checked in on the mainline: remove one bogus option from a command in
po/Makefile.in.in, add all the missing files to POTFILES.in,
regenerate gcc.pot (and cat-id-tbl.c). I would not describe this as a
major infrastructure change.
Also, I don't think any of the existing translations should ship in
3.0; they are so far out of date that they are useless. gcc.pot was
last updated this time last year.
