Using gcc-3_0-branch CVS retrieved 05/14/2001 AM, compiler and libstdc++
bootstrap fine on AIX 4.3.3

Not in real conditions of use, because I don't have local access to
AIX 4.3, but I tested on GNU/Linux/x86 with the definition of
THREAD_MODE_SPEC that would be used on AIX and it worked, so I hope it
does on AIX too. It can't get worse that it was before, anyway :-)
