Technically, Mac MPW support is still valid - there are lots of
MPW programmers out there, MPW is free for the downloading (though
not open source), and there are certainly lots of Macs still.  There
are actually sufficient bits scattered throughout various GNU
releases to build both native and cross toolchains.

But practically speaking, the support is severely bitrotted; it
hasn't been touched since I last worked on it some four years
ago.  When OS X 1.0 comes out, about five weeks from now, it
will have a new GNU-based environment that is completely different
from MPW, so at that point there would remain very little reason
to retain the MPW support bits, and I was figuring on deleting
all the MPW bits in various packages at that time.
