I think this would be better stated as
Rename files to end in @samp{.C} (@samp{.cc} for DOS-based file systems)
instead of @samp{.c}. This is convenient if you are converting a C
program to C++. This option applies only to @code{protoize}.
The way you worded it could be misinterpreted that the option only works
with DOS-based filesystems. You may even want to change the words
"DOS-based" to "case-insensitive".
