Thanks for this addition, which I'll install with minor modifications
shortly.
However, we should change "Currently egcs" to include the actual version
number, as we cannot foresee when exactly someone will read that entry.
Which version(s) of egcs behave as you have described? egcs-1.1.2?
egcs-....?
