Try libg++ 2.8.1.2 from the egcs infrastructure directory, 
ftp://egcs.cygnus.com/pub/egcs/infrastructure/

BTW, the FAQ deserves an update, since the latest release of libg++ is 
listed as available only from yggdrasil.

Is this ok to install?
