I wonder why not all patches are submitted.
As it is written, it seems that some patches (perhaps many) are never
submitted for trunk acceptance

So trunk might already have patch applied to ARM/embedded-*-branch.
Is it reasonable to assume that the official gcc-5-branch has at least
all the ARM/embedded-4_8-branch patches (and maybe some patch from
ARM/embedded-4_9-branch)?
