I currently have installed a gfortran compiler, gcc version 4.9.2 and would like to use LAPACK libraries to solve linear systems of equation with Fortran. Could you please give me some (for dummies) step-by-step instructions on how to perform the installation? Thank you in advance for your help.

https://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/LAPACK%20on%20Windows looks a bit stale, but might help if relevant. If you're using cygwin, there are gfortran built libraries ready to download.
