Re: upgrading gcc-4.4.0 to gcc-4.7.0:configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile

There are several "errors" in config.log file, most of which I observed even
when the GCC-4.4.0 build successfully. I do not know how to resolve all of
these errors.
