Subject: Thread model: single

  I'm trying to compile a threaded C program with a cross compiler that
has this setting. I read in several places what this means for C++
programs, but couldn't find any reference for pure C programs. in
particular, I didn't find any documentation related to this, even in the
gcc-internals manuals. any pointers?
