Error when building GCC from source tar (version 4.1.2)

- Subject: Error when building GCC from source tar (version 4.1.2)

I successfullly instaleld bison installed bison 2.3 and M4 1.4.9 on my HPUX
11i machine.
I ran the followiing configure command:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gnu/gcc-4.1.2
--enable-threads=posix--enable-languages=c,c++ --with-system-zlib
I than ran make bootstrap (I seem to build some *.o's succesfully) but than
I get the following erorr.
Bootstrapping the compiler
Make: Don't know how to make bootstrap. Stop.
*** Error exit code 1
Can somebody point me in the right direction.
