Errors Compiling GCC 3.2.2 on Fedora Core4

Hi,

I'm having trouble compiling GCC 3.2.2 on Fedora Core 4.

I have untarred the source to:

/export/packages/gcc/gcc3.2.2

I have created the directory

/export/packages/gcc/objdir

I cd into /export/packages/gcc/objdir and type

/export/packages/gcc/gcc3.2.2/configure

and then

make bootstrap

I eventually get the error:

I have gcc 4.0.0 installed on teh box too.

Any help would be gratefully received.
