Compiling applications for previous libstdc++ ?

Hi friends,
I have developed an application that I have compiled and running on
Centos 4.1 ( final ) but now I would like to get it running on CentOS
3.x due to customer requirements.

 I have gcc version 3.4.3 20050227 ( Red Hat 3.4.3-22.1 ) running on
CentOS 4.1, while I have gcc version 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux
3.2.3-49 ) on centOS 3.4 ( final ) ..

i would like to know is there any way in which I can compile for a
lower version of libstdc++ machine using a different libstdc++ ?

 Looking forwad to your replies.

Thanks

Dhanvi
