How to install man pages for gcc 3.4.2?

Hi,
I have installed gcc into the --prefix folder. This is outside the
conventional folder like /opt etc.
The man pages are also installed along with GCC.
However man gcc still invokes the older version of gcc help.(3.2.1)
How do I invoke the right gcc man page?
